A place for us to celebrate our communitIES, FRIENDS and families, without the distractions of everyday life. A space for all of our creative, passionate and talented loved ones to collaborate in a scenic environment.

SEPTEMBER 14-16, 2018

If You Build It (IYBI) is a weekend-long celebration of community.

This Fall, we’ll escape to Camp Ramah in the Poconos to create a new vision of “festival” - an event we build together, through collaboration and participation, where we’ll utilize our combined knowledge and experience in producing events to build a physical manifestation of our extended community.

A CULTURE OF PARTICIPATION

Here, we’ll gather as collaborators and revelers to enjoy a weekend festival of our own. Join us at summer camp, bunk with your friends and family, and enjoy music, sports, food and activities that we all come together to create. Do you love to paint? Consider leading a class for others. Are you an athlete? Why not organize a tournament? Bring your guitar and turntables, and perform on stage or around the campfire. IYBI is an experience defined by participation, where the line between fan and talent no longer exists and we all share our gifts with each other.

ALL IN THE FAMILY

You probably learned about IYBI from one of the founders or event ambassadors. Our ambassadors are our closest friends, many of whom have been “in the know” about If You Build It since day one. We’re excited for them to help us expand our community without losing the family feel of having everyone connected by no more than three degrees of separation. Each attendee of the inaugural IYBI will be “someone who knows someone you know” - because we want all our someones to get to know all our other someones, and become one big everyone.

If You Build It is also a family-friendly and all-ages event, welcoming everyone - from grandparents to babies, friends to colleagues, and beyond.

IYBI is designed to be an inclusive experience - meaning you won’t need to worry about whipping out your wallet during the weekend. The cost of registration includes your accommodations, programming, food & beverage.
